- We suggest making a stop in Vila do Conde to admire its riverside architecture and its tradition of bobbin lace before resting in Póvoa de Varzim.
Day 3 50 km approx.
Póvoa de Varzim to Viana do Castelo

- A perfect day of pedaling that combines the maritime atmosphere with rural sections of inland Portugal.
- Upon arriving in the stately Viana do Castelo, the golden recommendation is to go up to the Santa Luzia Sanctuary (a funicular is available) to enjoy one of the most impressive panoramic views in all of northern Portugal.

Viana do Castelo to Baiona

Night in Baiona
- One of the king and most spectacular stages due to the border crossing.
- Pay special attention in Caminha to the ferry schedules for crossing the Miño River toward A Guarda.
- Once in Galicia, pedaling along the coastal bike path will treat you to direct views of the Atlantic.
- Upon arriving in Baiona, get lost in its historic center and watch the sunset from the Monterreal Fortress.

Baiona to Pontevedra

- A day of contrasts where the coast gives way to the estuaries.
- A mandatory stop is the Royal Monastery of Santa María de Oia, an impressive Romanesque monastery right by the sea.
- After skirting the Vigo estuary and joining the inland Camino in Redondela, you will finish in Pontevedra.
- Do not miss the Plaza de la Peregrina and the lively atmosphere of its pedestrian squares.

Pontevedra to Santiago de Compostela

- The last stage, long and exciting, delves into the most authentic rural Galicia.
- Take advantage of passing through Caldas de Reis to refresh your legs in its thermal springs and stop in Padrón to try its famous traditional peppers.
- As you enter the Plaza del Obradoiro with your bicycle, celebrate your achievement and head to the pilgrim reception office to stamp your credential and collect your Compostela.
